The Bently Nevada 3300 5mm Proximity Probe series provides high-precision non-contacting displacement and vibration measurements for machinery protection in restricted-space applications. Engineered to meet API 670 standards, these transducers operate on the eddy current principle to provide a linear output proportional to the gap between the probe tip and the conductive target. Designed for seamless integration with 3300 XL Proximitor® sensors, the 5mm probe offers a smaller physical footprint than standard 8mm variants while maintaining robust chemical and thermal resistance via its polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) tip. These probes excel in monitoring radial vibration and axial position on high-speed turbines, compressors, and pumps. Our stock includes various unthreaded and threaded lengths, specialized cable configurations, and FluidLoc® options to prevent oil leakage through the cable, ensuring reliable performance in harsh industrial environments and hazardous area classifications.
